Four stores · one subscription catalog
Where to download The Midnight Walk
There is no browser build and no free installer. The legal copies are on Steam, GOG, PlayStation, and the Nintendo eShop. PS Plus Extra can put the PS5 game in your library while you subscribe.
Source notes
The stores are linked directly. Price observations are dated and region-specific; the October 2026 sale ended on 2 November and Steam is back to $29.99. Checkout is the authority for the final price and catalog access.
The four stores
Steam sells the PC game, flat and with optional PC VR: Steam. GOG sells the same PC game and stated that the copy includes flat and VR: GOG. PlayStation sells the PS5 game, PS VR2 optional: PlayStation. Nintendo sells the Switch 2 game, no VR, 14.7 GB: Nintendo eShop.
Standard price on all four, when they are not discounting, was $29.99. Launch price on 8 May 2025 was $39.99. A sale price is not the new standard: in late October 2026 Steam and GOG ran $13.49 and the eShop $14.99, and Steam and the eShop were back to $29.99 by 3 November. The dated table is on the price page.
PlayStation Plus
In October 2026 the PS5 version entered the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog. That is not the Essential monthly game, and it is not a permanent gift. Sony has not published a leave date. Steps and the VR caveat are on the PS Plus page.
What this page will not hand you
I will not link cracked builds, repacks, or key shops I cannot vouch for. The game is commercial. A page offering it for nothing is not a mirror of Steam. If your question was “which machine,” start at platforms, including the clear “no” for Xbox, PS4, Switch 1, and Game Pass.
PC specs, if you are about to buy the Steam copy for an older card, are on system requirements: Windows 10, i7-6700K, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070, 18 GB free. Steam published no recommended tier.
