Is The Midnight Walk on PS Plus?

What “on PS Plus” means here
Sony’s 14 October 2026 PlayStation Blog lists The Midnight Walk among October Game Catalog additions for Extra and Premium, available in the US and UK from 14 October and Japan from 15 October. It is not an Essential monthly title. This is subscription access, not a permanent license: access depends on an active eligible subscription and catalog availability. The announcement gives no removal date.
Claiming it is the normal catalog path: on the PS5, open PlayStation Plus, open the Game Catalog, search The Midnight Walk, and add it to the library. You need an active Extra or Premium subscription.
Does the catalog copy include VR?
Sony’s catalog announcement explicitly says the game can be played on PS5 or PS VR2. The headset is optional; this is not a VR-only title.
You do not need a headset. Flat play is the default. The longer answer is is it VR only.

Buying outright was $29.99 standard, with a short $13.49 sale on the store the morning of 22 October 2026. PC and Switch 2 are not covered by this catalog. Those links are on download and price.
